As we are one vehicle I can provide a very personal service, and ensure you get the most out of the places we visit. The Land Rover is top of its range, has air conditioning, and although designed to take 8 passengers plus a driver, for added comfort I aim to take no more than 6 people out at a time. I work with some of the major British Tour Operators and Go Beyond has had all Health and Safety aspects approved by the Federation of Tour Operators.                                                                             Antequera - a vibrant town north of Malaga which is steeped in history, there is even evidence of human habitation there from as far back as 4,500 years ago. Los Embalses de Guadalhorce - Andalucia´s very own lake district- stunning views and a completely different atmosphere to other parts of the area. Teba - a village with a 10th century fortress which commands a superb location at the start of the plains that head west to Sevilla. Carratraca and Casares - just two of the pretty white villages we visit to have a little wander through. Tarifa the best beaches in Southern Spain and the closest point to Africa. Whatever you want to visit I can offer you a day out driving you in the new Land Rover Defender XS, which has all safety features and a/c, allowing you the freedom to enjoy the day and visit some of the quieter and lesser known spots of this diverse part of Spain. Routes & Info Here's a few suggestions of places to visit ... Lakes and the Guadalhorce White villages, stunning lakes and dams. We wander through the fertile valley of Guadalhorce which is crossed by it's own Río Grande to explore the spectacular lakes of Guadalhorce. The lakes offer a unique scenery all of it's own.We also visit Carratraca, a pretty white village and the natural park of El Chorro, with its stunning gorge and caves. Antequera, Torcal and villages Antequera is steeped in history - from 2500BC to modern day, humans have used this important area as a place of settlement. Visit the dolmans, which are ancient tribal burial chambers, built by the Beaker people who later went on to build Stone Henge. Then we drive into the town of Antequera - a prosperous town in Roman times,through to the elaborate 19th century which the town centre architecture reflects, and to today with it's pleasant Spanish town buzz of life. The Torcal is a natural park close to Antequera which has the most amazing rock formations- one of Europe's greatest natural wonders. We wander back through the natural and wild countryside, passing through pretty villages and stunning scenery. Wherever you please... The special and personal touch offered by Go Beyond means we can put together something different just for you and your friends or family, depending on what you want to see. A different beach for the day, lunch out in the interior of Andalucia, castles, white villages, 5000 different types of wild flowers, spectacular pine clad mountains, and a vast array of birdlife as Andalucia is one of the main migration routes - whatever you want we can set up for you. Anywhere coastal between Málaga, Torremolinos, Benálmadena, Fuengirola, Marbella through to Estepona, and inland in the Mijas, Marbella, Coín, Alhaurín and Álora valleys. What should we bring with us? Clothing is whatever your holiday clothes are for the time of year - definitely bring your camera as there's loads of opportunities for great photos. In the Land Rover we have guide books, bird and flower books, binoculars and hiking sticks. We also make sure there is cool drinking water for you in the vehicle throughout the day. How long are the days out? We can be as flexible as you want, but as Andalucia is such a vast area the days tend to be from 9am to 17.30 pm to make sure you experience the best of everything. I'm not really sure where I want to go can you recommend something? The best day to start getting to know the interior is our Lakes and the Guadalhorce day as it gives you a great orientation to what lies behind the coast of the Costa del Sol. It very much depends on what kind of day out you want but as a general rule the cost runs between 40€--80€ per person, although we can do a special price if there's a group of you that want to take the Land rover for the day.
